How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account and all of its data from inside the app — open Settings → Account → Delete account. If you can't sign in, see the account deletion page for the email-based option.

How do I reset my password?

On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password? and enter your email. You'll receive a reset link from Firebase. If it doesn't arrive, check your spam folder. Note: if you signed up with Google, you don't have a password — sign in with Google instead.

I'm not getting notifications.

First, make sure notifications are enabled for OffShelf in your device's system settings. Then open Settings → Notifications inside the app and confirm the toggles you want are on. On iOS, the app asks for notification permission the first time you open it; if you said no, you'll need to enable it from system Settings.

My streak got reset — why?

Streaks reset when you skip a day without logging at least one completed session. The day boundary follows your device's local timezone. If you think your streak was reset by mistake, email me with the dates and I'll investigate.

Can I use OffShelf offline?

OffShelf needs an internet connection to sync your shelf, sessions, and AI-generated content. Your in-progress session timer keeps running offline, but the session won't be saved until you reconnect.

Is OffShelf free?

Yes. There are no ads, no upsells, and no subscription traps.

Response time: I aim to reply to support emails within 2–3 business days. Account-deletion requests are handled within 30 days, per the privacy policy.
