Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Stay Focused mobile application (the "Service") operated by Basheer Rjoub ("us", "we", or "our").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Service.
Stay Focused is a personal focus & productivity app that helps you:
You sign in with a Google account. You must provide information that is accurate and current, and you are responsible for the security of the Google account you use to access the Service.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU) to use Stay Focused.
You agree not to use the Service:
Your tasks, deadlines, distractions, notes, focus sessions, and profile details are "Your Content." You retain all rights to Your Content. By using the Service, you grant us the limited right to store and display Your Content strictly to operate the Service for you (for example, syncing your data between your devices and generating your private daily insight and weekly recap).
We do not use Your Content to train third-party AI models. AI insights and recaps are generated from your sessions and content and are shown only to you.
Stay Focused uses an AI provider (Groq) to generate the daily insight and the weekly recap. AI output may contain errors, omissions, or opinions. It is provided for informational and motivational purposes only and is not professional, medical, legal, or financial advice. You are responsible for verifying anything you rely on.
Stay Focused displays banner ads via Google AdMob in some screens. By using the Service you acknowledge that ads are part of the experience. See the Privacy Policy, §3 ("Advertising") for details and opt-out controls.
The core features of Stay Focused are free. If we introduce paid features in the future, you will be billed in advance on a recurring basis according to the subscription plan you select, managed through your app store account. You can cancel at any time through your app store account settings. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality (excluding Your Content) are and will remain the exclusive property of Basheer Rjoub. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Basheer Rjoub be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Service.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. You may delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete account, or by following the web deletion flow.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any material changes taking effect.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
